Agave Print Studio - Dianne Longley

Dianne Longley has a PhD in printmaking history and monsters on her walls. Working from Trentham in the Central Highlands, she moves between printmaking, encaustic, pokerwork, porcelain and bronze casting — often within the same body of work. Her cast of characters: Renaissance beasts, Rabelaisian figures, kawaii toys and agave plants, assembled into scenes where, as one critic put it, someone asks directions from a chicken.
