Barking Gecko Forge

Barking Gecko Forge sits at Nannup in the forests of Western Australia's south-west, three hours below Perth. It is a working knifemaking business that both makes custom knives and teaches the craft, running everything from a one-day making experience to a two-day beginner bladesmith course and a three-day slipjoint folder class. The teaching covers each stage of a knife from start to finish, blending forged and stock-removal methods, and the makers' own hunters, kitchen knives and folders come off the same benches used to guide students through their first blade.
