Carlisle Hats

Every hat here is blocked and finished by hand in a Melbourne workshop, made to order rather than pulled off a shelf. The makers work in Australian Merino wool and European fur felt, with Harris Tweed, cotton and leather for caps and trims — fedoras, wide-brims, cowboy hats, beanies and straw shapes among them, some carrying hand-painted detail. Fittings happen in the showroom by appointment, so each piece is shaped to the person who'll wear it.
