Embellish Atelier

Catherine Kelly stitches and constructs each headpiece entirely by hand from her Rozelle studio in Sydney's inner west, drawing on traditional and contemporary millinery — beading, silk-flower making and leatherwork among her methods. She works in sinamay straw, grosgrain and vintage embellishments, taking bespoke commissions and running hands-on workshops in hat-making, fascinator design and silk flowers, both in the studio and online for anyone who wants to make their own.
