Frank Ideas

Rowan Shaw came to jewellery after a career in theatre and design, and now runs Frank Ideas from Sydney, working chiefly in rubber combined with recycled and upcycled offcuts, felt, resin and freshwater pearls. The results are sculptural statement necklaces, earrings and bangles, lightweight and hypoallergenic, made in small runs rather than mass-produced. Shaw sells online and wholesales to stockists, with a design language built around older women being seen.
