The Story

Founded in 1976, the Gold Coast Potters Association has been running wheel and hand-building classes out of a repurposed Mudgeeraba building since 1990. One of the original kilns was built by founding president Tom Wardell and still fires today. The Saturday gallery — open 9am to 3pm — sells member work and draws a crowd twice yearly for autumn and Christmas markets.
