Hand Weavers & Spinners Guild of NSW Inc.

Since 1946, the Hand Weavers & Spinners Guild of NSW has kept handweaving, spinning and allied textile crafts alive through 225 members and 41 affiliated groups across the state. Based in Eastwood, it functions as both a working guild and a knowledge repository—traditional techniques taught, practised and passed on. The kind of institution that exists because people refused to let it disappear.
