Theo Hassett studied custom shoemaking at RMIT after a business degree, sharpened it alongside James Roberts at Captains of Industry, and has run his own city atelier since 2010. He hand-cuts, dyes and edges belts, wallets, bags and dog leads in full-grain leather, and makes bespoke footwear to order. The belts take their names from inner-Melbourne streets — Lygon, Rathdowne, Somerset — and everything carries a ten-year guarantee.
