The Story
Ian Monty makes interior furniture and custom joinery from a one-person workshop in New Brighton, working with both solid timber and man-made boards such as birch ply. Trading as Ian Monty Wood Design and Splinter Workshop, he has been crafting since 2005, taking on domestic and cabinet commissions across contemporary and traditional lines. Past work includes a birch ply bookshelf and AV unit.
