Daniel Zhang is a surgeon in training who grinds fountain pen nibs by hand — a less strange pairing than it sounds, both being precision work at a millimetre scale. He taught himself on JOWO #6 blanks because the service barely existed in Australia, then moved onto Montblanc and Nakaya.
