Josef Selway

Josef Selway makes shoes and boots to measure in a Brisbane atelier — hand-welted, hand-stitched, one maker working to a customer's own last. There is no off-the-shelf range; every pair is bespoke, built from the foot up, which is why the work begins with measurement and a last rather than a size. A Churchill Fellowship took him abroad to deepen the craft. The result is footwear made the slow way, to fit one person and last.
