Lester Shoes

Brian Lester is a fourth-generation shoemaker who has spent more than fifty years in the Australian footwear trade and now makes men's shoes and boots by hand from a small factory in Oakleigh. He works in the traditional European method, with full-leather uppers, linings and soles, either to one of his classic patterns or measured to your own foot. It's a one-man operation — Brian makes the pair, and you can ring him to talk through what you're after.
