LoomTex

A weaving mill and dyehouse in Breakwater with roots going back to 1920, when the site opened as a returned soldiers' wool cooperative under Prime Minister Billy Hughes. A century of textile production later, it was rebranded LoomTex in 2023 following acquisition by Instyle Contract Textiles and Colan Australia. Wool weaving and dyeing, still running on the same Geelong site.
