Mary Cheng Art

Mary Cheng is a Malaysian-Australian illustrator and painter working from Naarm/Melbourne, three years into a full-time practice she began after studying art in Italy. She renders the everyday texture of multicultural city life, from food and architecture to small cultural rituals, in ink and black watercolour, adding colour to pick out the parts of a scene that carry its story. Cheng sells prints and small original paintings, takes personalised commissions, and shows at markets including Finders Keepers.
