Nicola Bannerman

Nicola Bannerman trained in gemmology as well as fine art, teaching crystallography at the Gemmological Association of Australia for fifteen years before that science became the grammar of her jewellery. She works precious metals into the geometry of seed pods, leaf buds and crystal forms, and scales the same vocabulary up into commissioned metal sculpture for walls and gardens. The studio in Sydney's eastern suburbs receives clients by appointment.
