Deep in Byfield's rainforest, Steve Bishopric and Sue McBurnie run a working pottery studio where the division of labour is literal: Steve throws on the wheel, Sue carves and decorates. The pair fire using a traditional anagama kiln — a four-day wood-firing process that produces results neither can predict. Three galleries show work by over 45 makers.
