NorthSite Contemporary Arts (formerly KickArts)

Thirty years into its life, NorthSite operates out of Bulmba-ja on Abbott Street — a building whose name was gifted by Yirrgandji and Gimuy Walubara Yidinji custodians. The gallery has long trained its attention on Far North Queensland and Torres Strait artists, with past exhibitions covering printmaking, ceramics and Indigenous cultural knowledge. A separate printmaking studio in Edge Hill runs residencies drawing artists from across the Asia-Pacific.
