Overwrought Garden Art

David Dawson has been welding decorative metalwork since 2006 — gates originally, now everything from fire pits to birdbaths. His five-acre Blampied property, eight minutes from Daylesford, houses both the fabrication shed and a landscaped sculpture garden with dry creek beds and a billabong. The converted hay shed gallery also stocks ceramics, jewellery, and woodwork from nearby makers. Dogs welcome.
