Daegeon Song trained under Korean pottery master Lee before settling in Newtown, and that trajectory shows in the work. At Project Snail, traditional Buncheong techniques and moon jar forms are being quietly rethought in a studio he helped fit out himself. The result is somewhere between workshop and research practice — unhurried, precise, worth the trip to King Street.
