RMK Leather Works started when Matt Keillor, wanting a break from fly-in fly-out work, spent a day with his father Ross making a belt and an ammo pouch — Ross being the "R" in the name. It's now a family workshop at Coolum Beach, where Matt, his partner and his siblings make everyday-carry and outdoor gear: Leatherman holsters, knife sheaths, ammo pouches, rifle slings, wallets and belts in full-grain kangaroo and bovine, most made to order within five to ten days.
