Screen Queensland Studios, Cairns

A film and television studio complex in the Cairns suburb of Portsmith, ten minutes from the airport and opened in 2024. The facility holds a 1,070-square-metre air-conditioned sound stage with rigging, alongside multi-use spaces, production offices, editing and sound recording suites, wardrobe and green rooms. Productions including Black Snow and I'm a Celebrity have based here, with all profits reinvested into the Queensland screen industry.
