The Makers Shed

The open studio of silversmith Richard Moon, in a century-old shopfront on the New England Highway at Deepwater. Moon has spent over a decade making wearable silver and silverware from recycled, repurposed and vintage materials set with semi-precious stones, and the bench doubles as a teaching space — his silversmithing workshops hand the design over to you, provided you turn up with an idea. The building also holds a regional-artist gallery and an independent bookshop, so the studio sits inside a wider creative operation rather than standing alone.
