Carole Maher makes couture millinery by hand in Sydney, working under The Sydney Millinery Co. Every piece is bespoke — contemporary yet classically elegant headwear built from materials as varied as thermoplastics, metal, wood and paper cloth. She releases small one-off collections through the year and also creates ceremonial and screen headwear for film, television and advertising, taking clients by appointment.
