The Story
Cindy Watkins stitches textile artworks by machine — free-style, no templates — using silk and cotton she often hand-dyes with Tasmanian leaves and bark. Her current project: 5000 tree pieces, each one informed by Peter Wohlleben's *The Hidden Life of Trees*, with $2 from every sale going to Landcare Tasmania. The work is stocked at Divine Objects in Deloraine.
