Studio4 Studio Glass

Kate Baker founded this Inner West kiln-glass studio in 2014, and it shows in the depth of the infrastructure: three kilns, sandblasting, grinding, screen printing, darkroom. The resident artists, rotating visitors, and workshop program all orbit a serious research practice — Baker's work is held at the Smithsonian and Corning — which gives the teaching here an unusual rigour.
